The Divine Feminine
Evidence of the Afterlife Podcast
In this episode, Maverick Vardøger is joined by Annine van der Meer, Betty Kovacs, and Anne Baring for a deep discussion of The Divine Feminine. We discuss spirit with a focus on the motherly and feminine aspect of God. Through the new evidence being uncovered by scholars and archaeologists, we revisit stories from history and religion with a new understanding of the role played by the Divine Feminine, uncovering the truth of what really happened and what has been covered up for thousands of years.
“The Divine Feminine is the Soul of the Cosmos, the Feminine dimension of the Godhead—God-the-Mother—once named Holy Spirit and Divine Wisdom; lost for millennia during the patriarchal era, yet never completely forgotten. The Holy Spirit was known in ancient Judaism as the Tree of Life. She was known in Essene or Gnostic Christianity and in Alchemy as Sophia or Divine Wisdom. She was known to Jesus who spoke often of his Mother, the Holy Spirit, in the Gospel written by his beloved wife, Mary Magdalene. A thousand years ago, the Holy Spirit was known throughout Europe as the Holy Grail, sacred image of the Divine Feminine. Her most ancient symbol is the rose—the rose that we can find exalted in the great rose windows of Chartres cathedral. Light and Love flow to all creation from her Cosmic Womb. The Divine Feminine is returning to us now as we face the greatest challenge we have ever had to face—how to birth the understanding that Life is One; that we are all connected to each other; that we are all immortal children of God, participants in the Source from which we have come and to which we will return. We cannot birth this understanding without becoming servants of the Divine Feminine and the values that She embodies.”
